Dr. Marci Bastien is a board-certified licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner. She is a California native and grew up here in San Diego County. Her love for healthcare began in her teens while volunteering after school as a special needs aid and a patient care assistant.  She went on to receive her RN nursing degree working primarily in the ER.  Her interactions with patients in the hospital drove her passion to decrease mental health stigma, health disparities, and provide appropriate care for patients seeking relief of symptoms.  She brings the unique qualities of providing 14 years of emergency nursing and six years as a psychiatric provider to our practice.

She obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice, with an emphasis in psychiatry from Arizona State University in 2014. She has provided successful treatment modalities to hundreds of patients.  Dr. Bastien treats multiple conditions including but not limited to anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, OCD, ADD/ADHD, insomnia, and schizophrenia using a holistic approach to psychotropic medication. She works with both adolescents and adults providing compassionate non-judgmental, patient-centered care.

Dr. Bastien loves spending time with her family including her four-legged friends. Stress relief includes long walks, hiking, bicycling, eating chocolate, and boogie boarding.
